Project Description
Cram is Academic tutoring is an efficient way for students to get help on homework, exams and understanding class materials. According to an experimental study of the Match tutoring program done by the U.S. Department of Education, students participating in tutoring generally had higher scores than those who did not participate. While the University of Rochester provides tutoring series, students must schedule an appointment a few days in advance, leaving students with last-minute questions in a bind. The reality is students sometimes procrastinate and don’t realize they need help until they are working against a deadline. According to the American Psychological Association, between 80 and 95 percent of college students procrastinate on their schoolwork, proving the need for more flexible tutoring. Cram fills that gap by allowing students to instantaneously connect with a tutor on campus to get help whenever they need it.
